This fixed blade knife is made by Survivor USA. It has a simple full tang design with useful paracord wrapped handle that can be unwrapped and used for other things such hanging a tarp. Even things like lashing the knife to a long stick in order to use the knife in hard to reach places. Think lopping the branch off a tree overhanging your tent! Possibilities are practically endless. The blade is black coated 440 stainless steel which ensures it shouldn’t rust, as well as being non-reflective and less likely to scare fish away while fishing.

The nylon sheath has a separate pouch for the magnesium alloy fire starter that comes with this survival knife. Not great as the first port of call for starting a fire, but a very handy backup to have!
