There are fixed blade knives, and there are M311 Spelter knives. The latter, designed by ANV is an outstanding survival knife. It features an incredible Elmax steel blade – full tang, DLC coated and outrageously sharp. Paired with coyote coloured handle and zebra camo striped blade. An exceptional cutting tool.

The M311 Spelter in Elmax

The blade is made from specialist Elmax steel. Renowned for being corrosion resistant, easy to sharpen and extremely tough. It excels in all conditions and thanks to the DLC coating, just doesn’t rust. It’s a deep drop point shape with high flat grind. The Acta Non Verba swedge improves it’s piercing power while not sacrificing slicing performance. A deep first finger choil near the guard allows you to ‘choke up’ slightly for the finer tasks, while still being fully capable with the bigger utility cutting and chopping. The blade is 12.5cm long and will have your back out in the wild.

Micarta is King

The handle is 3D machined, textured and lively in hand. The black coloured micarta is grippy but comfortable and looks great to boot. At 15cm long it offers more than enough leverage for general outdoor cutting tasks and provides all the benefits of a specialist tool. The scales are removable too. You can remove them to clean, swap them out or even customize easily with the hex screw bolts. The pommel of the knife includes a lanyard hole too with length of paracord included.

This knife comes with a black kydex sheath for safe storage and transport along with mount points for clipping to a rig or pack when needed.
