This multi award winning knife was designed by the legendary Ken Onion. The handles are made from 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum and house an impressively beefy AUS 8 stainless steel blade, which is extremely sharp. All the way from the USA with CRKT’s RRP of $150 we have them here in the UK ready to ship, discounted, under £100.

Field Strip Technology lets you easily disassemble your knife for cleaning without tools. To disassemble, close the knife, push the front release lever up. Then spin the rear release wheel clockwise —once you feel the handle release, pull it up and away. Handles and blade come apart easily. To bring the knife back together, place the blade and handles into the closed position – press and hold the pivot. Once the pivot is seated correctly, rotate the release wheel counter-clockwise until snug. Push front lever down. The knife is restored to full working order. My first CRKT purchase. Loved the look of the knife. Blade shape looks like a WWII bayonet. The flipper looks like a bayonet lug. The coloration of the handle looks OD green in some lighting, and gold in others. This knife oozes cool! Action was a little sticky with some friction on opening. Taking the knife apart and applying a little oil on the washers smoothed things up. Still not quite as fast as a ball-bearing action. I snagged my clip.

I fell in love with this knife the moment I first picked it up. Even without the field strip capability, this is a great knife; with that added capability, it is awesome. When assembled, the entire knife is sturdy rugged and stout; when open, there is absolutely no play in the pivot joint and the knife feels more like a fixed blade than I thought possible. And, smoothness of opening and closing is NOT sacrificed; it swings open with a reassuring SNAP and its closing action is one of the smoothest I’ve felt. It feels every bit as strong as sturdy as my CRKT M21 and is nearly identical in size. And finally, the perfect curves of the drop point blade make this knife a near work of art. I think that Ken Onion has done it again and this knife has made me an even bigger fan of his work.

This is an amazing knife. First off the blade is extremely sharp and sturdy, the blade opens and shuts with complete ease and the flipper doesnt take much half of the time i use this i dont move the blade when opening it i just use the flipper without moving the blade as it has a great motion almost like a spring assisted knife. Secondly the whole peice is confortable and easy to hold without the loss of comfort. The field strip function is amazing it makes it a breeze to clean and sharpen if ever needed. The field strip feature also doesnt affect the performance of the opening i have taken it apart and put it back together more times that i can count just for the fun of learning to do it quickly amd effectively definitely worth the money and a worthy knife for any collection i highly recommend amd will be looking out for any more knifes from Ken Onion
