This is big and strong with a tough PVC sheath with shoulder strap & belt loop. Based on the machete used in ‘The Book of Eli” hit movie featuring Denzel Washington. The machete measures a massive 26 inches with a 19 inch stainless steel blade. This is full tang. The handle is wrapped with leather cord for a solid grip.

Firstly impressed at the time it took from placing the order to get (just one day!), the machete itself is quite large, sharp and well made and fully useable, the handle is made of leathery twine (I wondered if it was a solid handle underneath or just cord but is just corded), it comes with a nice pouch with shoulder strap -happy it arrived and another nice machete to my knife and sword collection. Worth getting either for show or for doing gardening, maybe chopping burglars legs off if they break into your home.

Over all it is a nice looking and sharp machete but on mine the build quality is questionable, the end of the tang sticks out from the handle, it hasn’t been ground back enough also the handle leather is hard and the actual handle is very thin so the weight of the blade is hard to control especially with big hands, at the end of the day it is really just a show piece, if you require a working machete then the 12 or 18 inch gerber gators are unbeatable for price and performance and go with me on every survival/camping/trekking adventure.

Blade is good quality. Hanging strap on the sheath is a bit flimsy, not sure it wouldn’t tear off – not that you’d carry it about! Overall very happy

Blade is good. Sheath is poor, due to the shape of the blade multiple poppers need to be opened to get it out. Handle is terrible. Plastic twine wrapped around the tang, way too skinny.

Beautiful huge blade, comes very sharp. lightweight with a weighted top due to shape allows for easy cutting/chopping/slicing. Also very sharp point.
The only negative thing i have to say about this blade is that the material on the handle is quite slippy and uncomfortable…however you can easily modify it for better grip and comfort/wear gloves! 🙂

A very nice replica! Perfect for a display. Would not recommend as a working blade, it’s a movie rep and should only be used surviving an appocolipse! A nice secure sheath too.

Do not buy this for any sort of work other than cutting weeds or nettle, I used it to chop sides of a log and it broke. It’s definitely not made of forged steel. Very poor item

The machete is really nice but the sheath is far from tough, it looks good but is very poor quality the rivets just pop out and the straps are very weak. So making my own sheath to get over this. I will use a similar design only better quality materials.
