This model has been in production since the late 1960s and has been exported around the world for more than 40 years. With the superior finished, sharp and flexible stainless chrome steel blade it only takes a moment to make beautiful fish fillets.

The stainless steel used by Marttiini is easy to maintain as a blade material. A stainless steel blade remains sharp for a long time. Chromium makes up 13% of the steel mixture and the hardness of the mixture is 53-54 Rockwell units (HRC). A diamond sharpener is recommended for sharpening chromium steel.

Marttiini filleting knives separate meat from bone precisely, making filleting easy. It is no surprise then that these knives have served fishermen and home cooks for decades. Our collection includes a suitable filleting knife for fans of traditional wooden handles, as well as rubber handles for superior grip.

Beautiful knife. A lot better value than a lot of other high end Finnish knives I have had. Highly recommend, functional and quality filleting knife.
